The ResucePLUS card is an ATM card and debit card all rolled into one.

Access your funds by using your RescuePLUS card at any Bank of Hawaii ATM or any ATM displaying the Plus or Star System logo.

Or use your RescuePLUS as a debit card...
To pay for goods or services at stores, restaurants or anywhere the MasterCard logo is displayed. And the charges are deducted directly from your HFDFCU checking account.

Overdraft Protection
We offer 2 types of Overdraft Protection; choose one or both types of overdraft protection that best fit your needs.

Type 1. All checking accounts are linked to your savings account. Should your checking account become overdrawn, we will automatically transfer available funds from your savings account into your checking account to cover your check(s). You are allowed 6 of these tranfers per month at no cost to you.

Type 2. Line of Credit/Overdraft Protection. This is a $1,000.00 line of credit that can be used for Overdraft Protection. For more details and current loan rates, please call the credit union office.

Monthly Combined Account Statements
Makes recordkeeping easy by giving you a detailed summary of all activity in your checking account, as well as all other accounts you may have with the HFDFCU.

Direct Deposits
Enjoy the conveneince and safety of having your salary, retirement or Social Security payments deposited timely and directly to your HFDFCU checking account.

Automatic Payments
Make your life easier by having your bills such as utility bills, insurance premiums, loan payments, etc. automatically deducted from your HFDFCU checking account.

RescuePLUS Debit Card

Your RescuePlus card is an ATM Card and Debit card all rolled into one. Here's how it works...

Access your funds by using your RescuePlus card at any Bank of Hawaii ATM or any ATM displaying the Plus or Star System logo. You can withdraw cash, transfer funds, change your pin and check your account balances 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Plus you can make deposits to your HFDFCU checking account at selected Bank of Hawaii ATMs.

Or use your RescuePlus Card...

To pay for goods or services at stores, restaurants or anywhere the MasterCard logo is displayed. And it's deducted directly from your HFDFCU checking account.

ATM Transactions:

-Between both savings and checking accounts
-Balance inquiries
-Cash withdrawal up to $400 per day (if the network system is down, the withdrawal limit is $100)
-Deposits can be made at selected Bank of Hawaii ATMs, if accompanied by a pre-printed deposit slip and into checking only
-PIN change request
-The first ten (10) transactions per month are free if a Bank of Hawaii ATM is used. After ten (10) transactions are exceeded, a HFDFCU network fee of $1.00 is accessed and any applicable fees are as follows:

Debit Card Transactions:
The RescuePlus card offers you the same control over your spending as your checkbook, with much greater convenience. The card is easy to use-just follow the same steps as you would with any other charge card. And it's much faster than writing a check. Also, as a RescuePlus cardholder you can use your card worldwide anywhere you see the MasterCard logo, including places where your personal checks would not be welcome.

Purchase Deductions:
Cardholders should understand that purchases made with the RescuePlus card work like a check. The purchase amounts will be deducted directly from your checking account. It is important to enter these transactions immediately into your checkbook register to help keep track of your checking account balance.

To Qualify...

You must have a HFDFCU checking account
Your checking account history must not exceed no more than 3 unpaid checks within a 6-month period
Valid identification is required
Personal checking accounts only
