MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO:

Employees of the Honolulu Fire Department, members of their immediate families and any organization of such employees.

Employees of the Honolulu Fire Department Federal Credit Union.

Retirees of both employee groups above.

Regular members of the Hawaii Fire Fighters Association, IAFF Local No. 1463 limited to 2,500 members.

Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union.

Members of the immediate families of the eligible parties above.
Additional Conditions:
Once becoming a member, an individual is always a member, even if he leaves the field of membership, unless he himself cancels his membership.
Any member of the same family related by blood or marriage regardless of where they reside is eligible for membership. However, the primary member must have a regular share account with the credit union before members of his immediate family are eligible for membership.
The member must be in good standing, defined by the NCUA Federal Credit Union Bylaws as “a person…. (who) must have one paid share and have paid their membership dues, and not caused a loss of funds or monies to the credit union.”
